So what is the Mantis Effect? 

The Mantis Effect is a combination of hardship, defeat & rebirth. 

When life hits hard we turn to nature, as my wife Tiffany was in the beginning stages of illness we turn to Praying Mantis. Hatching & caring for thousands of nymphs (baby mantis) We began our travels with the Mantids to Nature Centers doing kids programs & education about these tiny beauties. It gave us purpose again. 

Now we face another challenge as I myself, Richard, have been bitten by nature. 

Being a Lyme & Alpha Gal warrior I began to question the trees. 

What can give life can take away. The circle of life. The learning, the experiences, the ups, the downs, The Mantis Effect.
